I used my 16-35 wide angle lens today for a glamour shoot. The model wanted to feature her shoes and legs. I laid on the floor and shot straight up. I wish I could remember to use my wide angle more. Because I shoot comp cards and head shots where you don’t want distortion I forget how artistic a wide angle can be.
This shot of Lorena, who is 5’4″ and curvy was taken out of my north facing studio windows. She is standing of a 15″ platform to raise her a bit off the floor. I have 4×8 styrofoam panels covering the bottom half hiding my heating pipes. Ivory sheers are just hanging from the curtain rods.
The shot is pretty much right out of the camera…just sayin
