Detroit Michigan Lingerie Photography by Mary DuPrie
Lorena from yesterdays shoot. Trying out some new sets. I brought in my 24″ black satin squares which I hadn’t done before and a new chair from Home Goods (hint hint, 30 day return policy). I love the extra light on the mirror. I bought this mirror at the Neiman Marcus discount store, it was about $240. Window light as the main with a large gridded strip as rim light., used horizontally.
Lorena first had on a strapless corset which I didn’t care for. If the model has larger breast, strapless tends to smash them down, so the top can stay on. Not flattering for larger bust sizes.. I think I’ll start a file to send to clients of unflattering styles. It never ends.
I’m finally working on my boudoir pricing info. I’m chipping away at it. I’ll be posting a link when it’s finally finished. I got quite a bit of help from a blog reader… it never ends
I’m leaving this Saturday for Brazil. I’ll be lecturing on directing models at their photo expo. It should be interesting. They’ve been great and they’re very excited about the program. It’s a 10 hour flight and my posts will be extremely short to say the least.2 comments
