I find some things extremely hard to do and can’t wrap my brain around them. Coding and IT are extremely complicated and not intuitive at all. Certain programs you can just start clicking and you can eventually figure out enough to get by. But not coding.
I’ve been wanting to make a few landing pages but I had no idea how to do it. I’ve gotten some help with my first one but it was so hard I had no memory of it. I worked on another landing page yesterday and it was still really hard. It’s hard to take notes when you’re stumbling through it and backtracking a lot.
It is not something the faint of heart will want to tackle, best leave it to the pros. Tons of steps and ways to mess up. My new landing page is www.detroitcompcardphotographer.com (not sure why I’m getting the purple border?)
I’m using this blog post to brag that I finally did it… I made a landing page all by myself and I’m feeling quite smug about it. That’s it…
Thank you Blake…(the SEO guru can fix you up with one if needed)
Thank you Erick… (great friend and MAC IT guy)
I rock!

You should consider using Microsoft Frontpage. I’ve found it quite easy for Web pages. Also, FP makes it easy to remove the border around the image by just right clicking the image and turning border to 0 in the properties.
About the page itself. Looks GREAT!

The purple border is an annoying thing that has to do with the browser settings of each user. I have it turned off on mine. To make sure that it does not show up, all you have to do is put this (border=”0″) in your
it will look like this.
OK, so I can’t put html in a reply……
Like this, bur replace the { with <
{img src="image location" border="0"}
Let's see if that works.
You were exactly right! I was told the answer this morning, I would of never found it on my own. I find Dreamweaver to be really hard! Not my finest hour.
