Act Happy, Really, Really Happy

Detroit Michigan Portfolio Photography by Mary DuPrie

Ahhh… fall is here.  It’s bitter sweet.  I love days that are cool but the sun is hot.  Michigan is gorgeous in the fall.  Tommorrow I have a comp card shoot and the weather will be 75 degrees.  Perfect.  It’s a non agency shoot for a client who just wants some modeling images for himself.  Yep, google search.  He said I was #1 on search.   In the public’s mind it means you must be the best around. I’m certainly not going to tell him otherwise, I just agreed with him.

I need to buckle down and really come up with a few different glamour packages.  I’m getting more and more inquires.  I have only one package at $1,200.  It includes a book, 2 prints, hair and makeup.  So I’ll see what I can come up with.

I’ve been working on everything I’ll need to know to produce my next DVD on backgrounds.  Hope I don’t drag my feet too long.  Still open for suggestions on what you might want it to cover.

Thanks to everyone for asking how I’m feeling, tons better today… kisses

That’s when you stay in the same relative angle of the shot of the model, and just shoot leaves (to allow the light angle to match). Cloning only is obvious when a pattern exists. I shoot lots of clouds in our central Texas sky; some sunrise, some thunderclouds, some sunset. I shoot them from different angles. Then when I need some for a photo that looks dead with a clear blue sky, I match up the light direction and layer them in Photoshop.

Odd that she’s not really standing on those leaves. I see evidence of cloning along the bottom. Shot in a studio instead of outdoors?

funny… yes i now see some poor cloning going on around the feet. she is outside but was standing on a concrete slab with lots of leaves on it… i added a few more leaves… albeit poorly!
